Is STEM for girls?

At Faraday, we intentionally include programs and activities which cater to the interests of both girls and boys! STEM needs the diverse perspectives and talents of all individuals to solve the world’s most pressing problems.

What if my child isn’t interested in science?

Science is seen and felt everywhere in the world. Because a STEM education focuses on learning processes, it prepares students for a variety of future life experiences. Students can benefit from a STEM education going into any career, including teachers, doctors, nurses, farmers, pilots, gymnasts, interior designers, chefs, and business owners.

How do you integrate Biblical principles?

Biblical principles are woven throughout our curriculum, emphasizing values such as integrity, respect, and compassion. We filter our coursework through a lens of Biblical Truth, but we do use a mixture of Christian and general educational resources.  All teachers align with our school’s statement of faith.

What kind of extracurricular activities are available?

We offer up to ten enrichment courses every week and rotate through a variety of engaging courses each semester, such as robotics, aviation, coding, art, science labs, math labs, cooking, makerspace, and architecture.  We take monthly field trips in alignment with what we are studying, such as iFly, Science Mill, Newman’s Castle, and local businesses. We participate in annual activities such as the Children’s Business Fair, science expo, community service projects, Christmas production, and talent show.
